Terms of Use

1. Using the game

Know Brainer is a free party game. Anyone can play with a room code. Hosting needs an account, which is invite-only and only for people aged 18 or older. By hosting or playing you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• Keep your password private and use one you don't use anywhere else.
• You're responsible for games hosted from your account. If you think someone else has access, reset your password and use Sign out of all devices.
• Invite codes are for the people they were given to. Don't publish them.

3. Fair and lawful use

Don't use the game to:

• post hateful, harassing, sexual or illegal content in team names or custom quizzes;
• include anyone's personal information (such as a phone number or address) without their permission;
• upload content you don't have the right to use;
• attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or try to access other people's accounts or games;
• automate sign-ins, scrape the question bank, or get around rate limits.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

Custom quizzes you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them only so you can host and replay them. Questions written with an AI assistant should be checked by you for accuracy before you play.

5. No warranty

The game is provided as it is, for fun. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every trivia answer is correct. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from using the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

6. Ending use

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may stop offering the service; if we do, we'll give hosts reasonable notice to download their data.
